#Pikmin enemies mod
They really are the ideal design for a videogame creature, please John Videogames, more round friends like these! blubbug not mario pikmin pikmin enemies hey! pikmin funky friday mod sockop bouncy bouncy bugs coming your way! The Blubbugs are dearly beloved by me, they’re funny bouncy bugs and they mean no harm! And you can’t harm them either! While still being proper obstacles/platforms. I love this entry SO much, I’d want to do that too Olimar, they’re so fluffy and round, a plushie of them would make me cry I think. “It’s too big for me to get my arms around, but it looks so warm that I wish there was some way to hug it.” Puffy Blubbug is also responsible for one of the most adorable things Olimar has ever written:
Puffy Blubbug also has no feet! But they don’t need em! As they have wings, though they barely use them! Lifting such a fat body with little wings ought to not be that efficient! What do they do instead? I’m glad you asked! they BOUNCE AND TUMBLE DOWN SLOPES!įinally! Proper Ball Physics for a Ball-shaped creature, they bounce like balls and then flutter with their wings for a bit, until you hit them of course, in which case they’ll bounce away and tumble uncontrollably for a bit! Also Puffy Blubbugs are a lot smaller, so they have to make up for faster heat loss! I guess this is a perfect reflection of how Blubbug exists completely unapologetically, and there’s nothing you can do to stop that.īefore wrapping up, there’s another member of the Bloather family, another spherical friend I must talk about:īlue and fluffy! Arguably even better adapted for snowy places! To be fair to regular Blubbug, they are mostly seen in caves, so it makes sense they wouldn’t invest a lot in camouflage. The devs knew what they were doing, they were keenly aware of their sins against videogame tropes and relished in them. Now let’s talk Biology! These guys appear only in one level, a snowy level! there’s ice and snow all around, so I theorized they are so blubbery as an adaptation for the cold! Just like seals and the like, I was then happy to see Olimar agrees with me! He says their fatty body insulates them from the cold! Their impenetrable defenses being a side effect of it!Īs you can see I have a lot of love and respect for Blubbug, but you know what’s interesting? this is a videogame, and there’s this super round creature, that moves, and you’re telling me THEY NEVER ROLL?!!!? What is this nonsense? I feel like all round videogame creatures are mandated by law to roll! And they’re already used as fast-moving hazards! But they SPIN INSTEAD OF ROLLING? You’ll want to lead them to certain ledges so that you can jump on them to reach higher platforms, you can push them with your Pikmin if you want to be fast, but they can sometimes do it on their own so you should be nice and patient with them when you can! Sometimes the only way is to push them into a hole so they stay there, which I think is very mean but I’m sure they’ll be fine! Instead, Blubbugs can be used as platforms! That’s right, these rotund fellas are Allies! Not enemies! I guess sorry for talking about a Weird Pikmin Ally, but it’s Funky Friday and all the rules are out the window! You’ll be pleased to know that, unlike most Pikmin creatures, you CANNOT kill Blubbug! If you throw Pikmin at them they just harmlessly bounce away, their bounciness makes them impervious to all forms of attacks! An incredible power! This is Blubbug! A funny bug seemingly filled with fat and nectar! This funny guy walks and slides in the snow with their 4 stubby feet, and when they feel in the mood, they stick their feet together and turn into a spinning top!! This lad loves to spin! They can push you off ledges while spinning, but this is an unintended result, they just want to spin! No hard feelings here. where to begin… just look at this round little guy! Don’t you wanna befriend them immediately?
